High Resolution, 360 Degree Spherical "DriveView"
Alternatively, instead of the three dimensional oblique aerial view, users can switch to our engineering grade, high resolution, 360 degree "DriveView" in T3, also provided as an option by our technology partner AAM. Engineers can select any point in a street map which will then link them directly to the associated 360 degree "DriveView" imagery. Within the "DriveView" imagery, users can pan or zoom in, for example, to inspect pavement sections for cracking. The high resolution "DriveView" imagery is captured by an AAM vehicle equipped with a precision positioning device and a custom 6 lens 14 MP video camera. Individual video frames are captured with spacings as small as 2m with a positional accuracy of less than 0.5m.
